“Really enjoyed our stay here. It was such a characterful hotel and our room was gorgeous with beautiful views over the Chobe river from the balcony. The game drives and river cruise were really good and a reasonable price. I would say, the service was very up and down, sometimes outstanding, at other times quite cold and disorganised. “Absolutely fabulous! What more could you ask for? Über friendly staff, excellent meals, food on request, and stunning rooms with a view from a hilltop. Lindi and Antony were particularly awesome. It is 7-8 chalets and a few campsites large. Advice for future travelers, turn off the tar road at the "Xhabe Safari 2km" sign at top of the hill and do not rely on the GPS. ”

“We have stayed at several Gondwana properties and found this to be the best so far. The location is beautiful with a lot space, out chalet was amazing (all recently renovated, along with the main building). The staff were very helpful and made extra effort to accommodate us. If you have the time, do a morning or evening boat ride to explore the river and see the banks of the national park on the other side.”
